Turmeric w/Ginger combines two botanical relatives in one capsule: 500 mg of organic turmeric root (Curcuma longa), 100 mg of organic ginger extract, 50 mg of turmeric standardized to 95% curcuminoids, and 5 mg of BioPerine®. One veggie capsule, 60 servings.
Turmeric and ginger are both rhizomes in the Zingiberaceae family, and they have been paired in Ayurvedic and Southeast Asian practice for as long as either has been used - the combination is traditional rather than a marketing invention. Curcuminoids are turmeric's characteristic compounds and gingerols are ginger's. BioPerine® addresses curcumin's well-documented absorption problem.
